EverChain Celebrates International Women’s Day

March 8th is International Women’s Day
EverChain is proud to support women in the ARM industry – and in all industries. EverChain is committed to giving women opportunities to excel and advance in their careers and sets an example for the industry. Currently, there are two women on EverChain’s Executive Leadership Team, including President & Chief Compliance Officer Jenn Wilson, and several women Vice Presidents.
In addition to supporting women in the workplace, EverChain also supports women’s initiatives in the community. For example, as part of EverChain’s Corporate Philanthropy Program, the team recently volunteered and donated to The Shade Tree shelter for abused women. The company is also involved in industry initiatives including the annual Inside Arm Women in Consumer Finance Conference.
More on Women’s History Month
March is designated Women’s History Month by presidential proclamation and serves to highlight and honor women’s contributions throughout American history.
Women’s History Month actually began as a local celebration in Santa Rosa, California. The Education Task Force of the Sonoma County Commission on the Status of Women planned and executed a “Women’s History Week” celebration in 1978. The organizers selected the week of March 8 to correspond with International Women’s Day. The movement spread across the country as other communities initiated their own Women’s History Week celebrations the following year.
